Why hose condition matters
The 360 is driven by water pressure through this hose, and it follows a route the hose length and flexibility largely determine. A hose that has hardened with age, kinked, or taken a permanent coil pulls the cleaner off course and leaves the same parts of the pool untouched every cycle. Splits and pinholes bleed pressure that should be driving the unit, so it climbs badly and slows down.
Fitting
Lay the new hose out in the sun before fitting it so it relaxes into shape, then set the length to the pool the way the original was set.
