Product details

The Jandy 5098 relay splitter lets one auxiliary circuit on an AquaLink system operate two relays. It is the answer to a common problem: the panel has the relays but not the spare AUX circuits to address them.

How it behaves

Both relays follow the one circuit, so they turn on and off together and cannot be commanded separately. That makes the splitter right for equipment that is always used as a pair and wrong for anything you want on its own schedule. Decide which loads truly belong together before wiring it in.

Where it fits

It is listed for AquaLink RS, AquaLink PDA and AquaLink Z4 systems. As with any control wiring, the work belongs to someone comfortable inside a live equipment panel, with the power off at the breaker before the enclosure is opened.

Can I control the two relays separately?
No. That is the trade off. Both relays energize at the same time from the one AUX circuit, so use it for equipment that is always meant to run together.
