Product details

The Jandy R0466400 is the 120VAC to 24VAC transformer used in AquaLink automation systems. It is the genuine Jandy part.

What it does

The AquaLink control side runs on 24VAC, not on line voltage. The transformer is what makes that step down, so it sits between the incoming 120VAC supply and everything the automation system actually controls. Without it, nothing in the panel powers up.

Diagnosing it

A dead transformer presents the same way as a dead controller: no display, no relays clicking, nothing responding. Before replacing a control board, check for 24VAC on the transformer output. It is a far cheaper part and a far more common failure.

Installation

This is line voltage work inside an automation enclosure and belongs to a qualified electrician or service technician, with power isolated at the breaker before the panel is opened.
