The Coverstar A0108 is the complete torque limiter for the CS1800 and CS3000 electric motor automatic pool cover systems, supplied without the housing.
What it does
A torque limiter sits between the motor and the drive. If the cover meets something it should not, a snagged edge, ice, a jammed track, the limiter gives way before the full load reaches the drive train. It is the part that turns an expensive failure into a nuisance.
