One grid or the set

This listing is a single grid. Grids tend to fail together, since they share the same age and the same backwash cycles, and DE returning to the pool through the returns is the symptom. If more than one is torn, the complete 36 sq ft grid set is usually the better call.

How do I know a grid has failed?
DE blowing back into the pool through the returns is the usual sign. Pull the assembly and look for tears in the fabric or a separated seam.
