The Polaris R0722400 is the black brush roller for the 8050 Sport pool cleaner, supplied with its keys. It is the factory Polaris part.

Why the roller wears out

The roller is the only part of the cleaner in constant contact with the pool. It is what scrubs film and fine dirt loose so the cleaner can pick it up. Once it flattens, wears smooth or tears, the cleaner still drives its pattern but stops actually cleaning, and owners often chase the filter or the drive before looking at the roller.
