Quick overview
- Genuine Tecmark Factory part TBS310A, the switch itself rather than an aftermarket substitute.
- Pneumatic operation A puff of air down the tubing from the deck button throws the switch, so no line voltage runs to the button.
- Spa and hot tub use Built for the wet environment of a spa equipment pack.
- Common failure point Air switches wear out long before the pump or blower they control.
- Keeps the button dry The air line design is why a spa button can sit at arm reach of the water.
- Direct replacement Swaps for the existing TBS310A on the equipment pack.

Product details
The Tecmark TBS310A is an air switch for spas and hot tubs. It is the genuine Tecmark part.
How the system works
Pressing the button on the spa deck pushes a small volume of air down a length of flexible tubing. At the far end, inside the equipment pack, that pressure pulse trips this switch, and the switch is what actually makes and breaks the circuit to the pump or blower. Keeping the electrical switching at the pack and away from the water is the whole point of the design.
When it fails
Air switches see thousands of cycles and are usually the first thing in the chain to give out. Before condemning the switch, check the air tube from the button. A tube that is split, pinched or holding water will stop the pressure pulse getting through and produce exactly the same dead button.
