Product details

The PAL Lighting PCR-1Z-SM is a switch mode color control transformer for pool and spa LED lighting, sold under part number 64-PCR-1Z-SM-65. It delivers 65 watts at 24V DC and controls a single lighting zone.

Color control

Color is chosen at the switch, from eight predefined modes. The unit remembers the last color, speed and brightness setting, so the lights come back the way you left them, and it syncs the PAL fixtures to each other automatically each time they run.

Installation and service

Pre-molded 1.5 inch conduit adapters and extra knock outs are built into the housing, which keeps the wiring straightforward. The unit is designed to be serviceable and upgradeable rather than sealed shut.

Ratings

It is a class 2 LED driver listed to UL676 for pool and spa lighting, and carries AS/NZ approval. It is made in Australia.

How many zones does it control?

One. It is the single zone version, so a second lighting zone needs its own transformer.
