This is the clear snap on lens cover for PAL-2000 series lights, supplied as a new OEM part. It replaces the original lens on the front of the fixture.
When to change the lens
Lenses take the abuse in a pool light. They scratch, they haze, and they pick up scale and chemical film. Long before an LED array is finished, a tired lens can cut the output and muddy the color the fixture was chosen for. Swapping the lens is the cheapest step to take before assuming the light itself has failed.
