The PAL Lighting 64-PCR-1ZW-65 is a 65 watt, 24 volt DC control transformer for multi-color lighting, in the single zone configuration with remote and Wi-Fi control.
One box, two jobs
It supplies the low voltage power the lights need and it carries the color control, so there is no separate controller to mount and wire alongside it. That keeps the equipment pad simpler and gives you one thing to troubleshoot rather than two.
Single zone
Single zone means one command goes out to everything wired to this transformer. All those lights change color together. If you want the pool one color and a landscape run another, that calls for a multi zone transformer instead.
Sizing
65 watts is the capacity here, and 24 volts DC is the output. Total up the wattage of the fixtures you plan to run before choosing, and leave headroom rather than loading a transformer to its limit.

How many zones does it control?
One. It is the single zone version, so all the lights connected to it change color together.
What is the output?
24 volts DC, at 65 watts. Add up the wattage of the lights you intend to run before you choose a transformer size.
Does it work over Wi-Fi or only with the remote?
This part number, 64-PCR-1ZW-65, is the version with both. It is the Wi-Fi control transformer and it takes remote control as well.
Can it run more than one color at a time?
Not on separate lights. A single zone means one color command goes to everything wired to it. Separate colors in separate areas need a multi zone transformer.
