Product details

The Pentair 520815Z is the genuine battery kit for the IntelliTouch control system and the MobileTouch II wireless controller.

The symptom

A MobileTouch II that runs down within minutes of leaving the cradle, or will not power up away from it at all, is almost always a worn battery. Rechargeable packs lose capacity every year they are in service, and a controller that has been in place for several seasons will eventually reach the point where the battery cannot carry it. The controller itself is usually fine.

Why the factory kit

The Pentair kit is matched to the controller for capacity, fit and connector, which is where substitute packs usually go wrong. Fitting the correct kit puts the handheld back into normal service instead of tethering it to the charger.
