The Spectrum Aquatics Aqua Buddy V2 1730116 is a 350 lb battery powered ADA compliant pool lift that mounts to the deck on a concrete anchor system, which is included with this listing. It is a UL Listed lift for in-ground pools and spas, and the manufacturer aims it at hotels, community pools and aquatic centers.
Operation
A 24 V rechargeable battery runs the lift, and a battery charger is supplied. The wired control handset is sealed to IP67, has up and down buttons and an emergency stop, and works from the deck or the water, so one person can operate the lift independently. The seat is the ergonomic style with lumbar support, the direction of the seat can be reversed in the field, and the armrests flip up for the transfer. A footrest adjusts to the user.
Fit
The setback range is 9 to 23 in. from the pool wall to the center of the anchor plate, with a water draft up to 15 in., which suits pools with deeper gutters or unusual deck profiles. The ADA clear deck space is 36 by 48 in. parallel to the seat. The frame is 304L stainless steel with a white powder coat. A fitted cover, part 1910223, is sold separately.
Warranty and related lifts
The manufacturer gives a 2 year limited warranty. If the lift needs to move between locations, the portable Aqua Buddy V2 is a separate model, part 266002.
