The Maytronics Dolphin Active 10 is a robotic pool cleaner made for above ground pools. It is compact, it scrubs and filters as it drives, and it works independently of the pool pump.

Why an above ground specific robot

Above ground pools have flat floors, shallow walls and a coping edge that a cleaner has to be lifted over. The Active 10 is sized for that. It handles easily at the wall and is built around the shape of an above ground pool rather than being an inground robot pressed into service.

What it does in the water

The cleaner filters the water as it works, which is what separates a robot from a suction cleaner. Debris ends up inside the unit rather than in the pump strainer or the filter, so the pool comes back clean and the filtration system is left alone.
