The IPS Controllers IPS-M920WL-CA is an automated chemical controller for commercial pools, combining pH control with dual ORP on a single 24 in by 19 in board. It is a panel level product, built to run water chemistry rather than to advise on it.

Reporting and compliance

The controller performs the PPM calculations and carries the full reporting capability used to demonstrate compliance with Title XXII requirements. That is the reason most commercial operators install a controller at this level: the record is produced automatically instead of being written on a clipboard.

Remote access

Readings and reports are reachable over WiFi from a smart phone, tablet, laptop or desktop, so a problem shows up as a changed number rather than as a closed pool. The logged values are Free Available Chlorine in PPM, pH and temperature. Where a site prefers a wired connection, IPS offers the same features over hard wired Ethernet as model M920CA.

Why commercial pools automate

Chemical automation has raised water quality far enough that many states, and the Model Aquatic Health Code, now expect these systems on commercial pools and spas. A controller of this class keeps water in range continuously rather than between manual checks.
