The Little Giant 101441 is the replacement impeller for the Little Giant pool cover pump. It is the genuine part, listed with the 1-MA cover pump parts.

What the impeller does

The impeller is the small rotating vane set inside the pump housing that actually moves the water. It is the part that meets grit, leaf stems and whatever else washes down onto a pool cover, so it wears and chips long before the motor gives up.

When to change it

If the pump powers up and runs at normal speed but pushes very little water, and the intake screen is clear, the impeller is the next thing to look at. Fitting a new one restores the flow the pump had when it was new, without replacing the whole unit.
