These are Hayward 2 in. winter plugs, supplied six to a pack under part number 004-302-1672-00.

What they are for

When a pool is closed, the return and suction lines are blown clear of water and then sealed so nothing can run back in. Water left in a line and allowed to freeze is what splits fittings and cracks plumbing, and a plug in each opening is the simple defense against it.
