The J&J Electronics 21096 is a PureWhite LED pool light from the LI Series: a 12 volt cool white fixture rated at 300W, supplied with a 30 foot cord as model LPL-F1W-12-30-P. It is a complete fixture, for in ground pools.

Why owners switch to LED

An incandescent pool light burns a large share of its power as heat and needs a new lamp every season or two. LED cuts the draw by as much as 90 percent and J&J rates the PureWhite fixture for up to 50,000 hours, so the cost of running the light and the cost of getting into the niche to service it both come down. J&J backs the fixture with a three year warranty.

How the water looks

Cool white LED light reads cleaner in the water than the yellow cast of an incandescent lamp, and it shows a dark finished pool far better. That is the practical reason most people notice the change on the first night.

Before you order

Check that your installation is 12 volt and that 30 feet of cord will reach from the niche back to the junction box. Cord length is fixed and cannot be extended at the fixture.
