Built to last in the water

The housing is heavy gauge 316L stainless steel and the LED engine is microprocessor controlled with a 50,000 hour rating. J&J puts the energy saving at up to 90 percent against incandescent lighting, with lamp life as much as 20 times longer. In a spa that runs most evenings, that difference shows up on the power bill and in how rarely you have to pull the fixture.

How the light looks

The fixture uses J&J proprietary Zero-Pixilation lens system. Without it, an LED array reads as a scatter of individual bright points and color changes step rather than blend. With it, coverage evens out across the water and transitions run smoothly. In white, the S2CW spa model produces 265 lumens.

Where it sits in the line

ColorSplash XG-W comes in three models. The F2CW, sold as the XG-W 500, is the flagship pool light at 4,200 lumens in white. The F1CW, the XG-W 300, produces 1,500 lumens.
