Product details

The J&J Electronics 25015 is a ColorSplash VU RGB-W nicheless LED pool and spa light, 12 volt and 20 watts, with a 150 ft cord. It fits most 1.5 in. wall fittings and mounts flush on a pool floor or wall.

What it does

The fixture pairs color LEDs with a PureWhite mode, for five solid colors (Parisian Blue, New Zealand Green, Brazilian Red, Pure White and Miami Pink) and seven light shows. It puts out 480 lumens through wide angle LEDs rated for 50,000 hours, and J&J's datasheet shows it as UL listed. Steps, swimouts, spillovers and spas are the usual places for it.

Fit and control

Because it is nicheless, the light installs in a 1.5 in. wall fitting instead of a light niche, and it needs a minimum water depth of 4 in. It works with the J&J ColorSplash XG Controller and synchronizes with ColorSplash XG, LXG and LXG-W series fixtures and lamps. J&J's model number for this version is LPL-R2CW-12-150. Hayward® lists it as SKU 25015 and notes that it is not OmniDirect compatible.

Before you order

This is a 12 volt light, so run it from a 12V pool and spa lighting transformer, never straight from 120V line power, and have the wiring done to local electrical code. Hayward® covers the fixture for 3 years on parts and 1 year on labor.

Will the 25015 fit my pool wall fitting?
J&J Electronics 25015 is built to fit most manufacturers 1.5 in. wall fittings and mounts flush on the pool floor or wall. It is nicheless, so no light niche is needed, and it needs a minimum water depth of 4 in.
What is LPL-R2CW-12-150?
It is J&J Electronics' model number for this light: the 20 watt R2CW ColorSplash VU RGB-W fixture, 12 volt, with a 150 ft cord. Hayward® lists the same light as SKU 25015.
Which cord length do I need?
Measure the run from the wall fitting to where the cord will be connected, and choose a cord that reaches with some slack. J&J's datasheet lists this fixture with 30, 50, 100 and 150 ft cords, and 25015 is the 150 ft version.
Can the 25015 run on regular 120V power?
No. The J&J Electronics 25015 is a 12 volt fixture. Power it from a 12V pool and spa lighting transformer, never straight from 120V line voltage, and have the wiring done to local electrical code.
