The Jandy R0462400 is the genuine replacement cartridge element for the Jandy CS200 cartridge filter. It is the element the filter shipped with, so pleat count, end caps and fit match the tank exactly.

Dimensions

33 in. long, 8-7/8 in. outside diameter, 4 in. inside diameter. If you are replacing an element without the original box, those three numbers against your old cartridge confirm you have the right one.

Cleaning versus replacing

A cartridge lasts several seasons if it is hosed off when the pressure rises and soaked in a cartridge cleaner once or twice a year to strip oils and scale that hosing leaves behind. When pressure stays high after a proper clean, or the pleats are torn, frayed or starting to collapse, it is time for a new element. Swapping it is a matter of opening the filter, lifting out the old one and setting this one in.
