What it does

On The PoolCleaner the left front wheel does the steering. A steering cam acts as the program: as the steering slide rides the cam, the left wheel runs forward, then reverses, which turns the cleaner and sends it off in a new direction. The 2 Wheel cam turns the cleaner 5 times in a cycle, while the 4 Wheel cam has 3 cutouts so the cleaner runs straight for longer.
