Product details

The Poolvergnuegen 896584000-273 is the hose swivel for The PoolCleaner pressure side cleaner. It snaps between two 6 ft sections of pressure hose so the hose can turn at the joint instead of coiling.

What it does

The PoolCleaner pressure model steers itself through programmed turns, and the hose has to follow it around the pool. Poolvergnuegen designed its snap swivels so each joint can rotate, which keeps the hose from coiling and leaking. As supplied, the cleaner runs six hose sections joined by five of these swivels, with a float set directly beside each one.

Fitting

Push each hose coupling into the swivel until it clicks. If a coupling will not latch, pull its tab out slightly to reload the clip, then connect it again. Put the float back right next to the new swivel.

Before you order

This swivel is for the pressure side PoolCleaner, which connects to a return fitting through its relief valve, not for the 2-wheel or 4-wheel suction models. If the hose falls short of the far end of the pool, add a hose section and a swivel together; the connected hose should run half to one section longer than the distance to the farthest point from the return. The pressure hose section is part 896584000-327.
