Product details

The Pentair 360242 is the vacuum tube kit for the Racer and Racer LS pressure side pool cleaners. It is the genuine Pentair replacement.

What the vacuum tube does

A pressure side cleaner uses water from a booster pump to create suction at the head, and the vacuum tube is the passage that carries dirt and leaves from the pool floor up into the debris bag. Everything the cleaner picks up travels through it.

When to replace it

If the Racer still drives its pattern but leaves debris behind, look at the tube before blaming the pump. A crack, a split seam or a collapsed section lets the suction escape short of the floor, and anything wedged inside blocks the path entirely. This kit puts that section back to standard.
