The Pentair 360244 is the sweep hose kit for the Kreepy Krauly Racer and Racer LS pressure side pool cleaners. It is the genuine Pentair replacement.
What the sweep hose does
The sweep hose is the tail that trails behind the cleaner and whips across surfaces the body of the cleaner cannot reach. It lifts debris off steps, out of corners and away from the waterline so it can be pulled into the cleaner or the skimmer. When the hose splits or wears short, the cleaner keeps driving its pattern but leaves those edges dirty.
Fitting
This is a direct replacement for the original sweep hose on an installed Racer or Racer LS. Fit it in place of the old one and the cleaner returns to sweeping the way it did new.
