Product details

The Pentair 360253 is the drive shaft kit for the Kreepy Krauly Racer, supplied with two wheel screws and sold one kit per pack.

What the drive shaft does

The Racer moves by turning its wheels, and the drive shaft is the link between the drive mechanism and the wheel. If the shaft wears or the wheel screws strip, the cleaner still hums and the drive still turns, but the wheel slips and the cleaner crawls or parks itself in a corner.

Checking before you order

Grab the wheel and try to rock it on the shaft. Play there, or screws that will not stay tight, points at this kit. Because the screws are included you can put the wheel back on properly rather than reusing hardware that has already lost its bite.
