What it does
The Legend cleaners are driven by water. Flow spins a turbine, the turbine turns this shaft, and the shaft passes that motion into the gearing that moves the wheels. Everything the cleaner does depends on that one line of drive staying tight.
Symptoms of a worn shaft
A cleaner that is clearly getting water and whose turbine is spinning, but that crawls, stalls in corners or stops moving altogether, has usually lost drive somewhere between the turbine and the wheels. The drive shaft and the turbine bearings wear together, so check both while the cleaner is open rather than fitting one and closing it up.
