The Pentair LLC1PMG is the gray rubber tire that rides on the wheel of the Legend Platinum LL105PM and the Legend Platinum Truck Series LL105PMT pool cleaners. It is the genuine Pentair replacement.

Why the tire matters

A cleaner only covers the pool if its wheels can grip. The rubber tire is the single point of contact between the cleaner and the plaster, and it wears down with every hour of running. Once the tread flattens or the rubber splits, the cleaner starts to slip, hangs up on slopes and leaves parts of the floor untouched. Owners often suspect the hose or the pump when a set of worn tires is what changed.

What you get

This listing is the tire only. It fits over the existing wheel, so bearings and wheel hardware stay where they are. If the cleaner has several wheels showing the same wear, replace them together so it tracks evenly.

Do I get the whole wheel?

No. This is the rubber tire that goes on the wheel. The wheel body, bearings and hardware are separate parts.

How do I know the tire is worn?

If the cleaner slips, stalls on a slope or stops covering the same ground it used to, look at the tread. A tire worn smooth or split at the edge is the usual cause.
