The Pentair JV32 is the fine silt filter bag for the Jet Vac pool cleaner, supplied complete with its locking ring. It is the genuine Pentair part.
Fine silt, not just leaves
Pentair lists this as the fine version of the Jet Vac bag. A fine mesh holds smaller material than a coarse one, which is what you want on a pool that picks up sand and silt rather than large debris. The trade off is that a fine bag loads faster, so it needs emptying more often.
When to change it
Bags are consumable. Once the fabric is torn at a seam, or so packed that water pushes past the mesh instead of through it, the cleaner keeps driving its pattern but returns the dirt to the pool. Check the bag and the seal at the locking ring before assuming the cleaner itself has a fault.
