Pentair Legend Platinum Fine Mesh Velcro Filter Bag, Gray, EU16G

The Pentair EU16G is the gray Platinum fine mesh filter bag, closed with velcro, for the Kreepy Krauly Legend LL505 and Legend II LX5000 automatic pool cleaners. The same bag is also referenced as Kreepy Krauly 360009, the gray Platinum fine mesh bag used after 2008.

Fine mesh versus standard

Bag choice decides what the cleaner actually removes. A standard debris bag takes leaves and larger material and lets silt pass through the weave and settle back on the floor. The fine mesh weave holds that fine dirt, which is the difference between a pool that looks clean from the deck and one that is clean at the bottom.

The velcro closure

Emptying is where a cleaner bag gets damaged. The velcro closure opens wide, dumps the load and reseals without the pulling and tugging that eventually tears a seam.

Replacing it
