The Pentair LLD05PM is the gray hose swivel for the Letro Legend Platinum pool cleaner. It is a new genuine OEM part.
What the swivel does
The cleaner works its way around the pool in a pattern, and the hose has to be free to rotate while it does. The swivel is the fitting that allows that. When it seizes, the hose winds up on itself, goes stiff, and pulls the cleaner back toward the wall instead of letting it cover the floor.
When to replace it
Check the swivel by hand. If it will not turn smoothly, weeps at the joint, or the hose beside it has taken a permanent set, the swivel is the cause and this is the replacement.
