Product details

Pentair EC110 is the white turbine cover with elbow for the Letro Legend pressure side cleaners, listed for the 3 wheel and 4 wheel LL105 models, the Legend Platinum LL105PM and the LL505G.

What it covers

The turbine is what converts booster pump pressure into the drive that moves the cleaner around the pool. The cover sits over it and keeps larger debris out of the turbine housing. The elbow on the cover carries the water in, and on this part the two come as one piece.

Why it fails

These are plastic parts working in sun and chlorine, and they get knocked against steps and walls thousands of times a season. Cracks usually show up at the elbow first. Once the cover or elbow is split, water escapes before it reaches the turbine, and the cleaner slows down or stops climbing walls even though the booster pump is fine.
