The Letro E23 is the quick disconnect adapter for the Pentair Letro pressure side cleaner line. It threads into a 1-1/2 in. female PVC fitting, which is what a standard pressure side return already terminates in.
What it does
The adapter is the piece between the plumbing in the wall and the cleaner hose. It gives you a connection that comes apart by hand, so the cleaner can be lifted out of the pool for storage, service or a party without touching a wrench.

Why they fail
This is the part that absorbs every hose removal. Years of pulling on the hose rather than releasing at the disconnect works the plastic thread until it cracks or strips, and a leaking or loose adapter costs the cleaner the pressure it needs to work properly.

What does it screw into?
