Product details
The Pentair LXD10 is the feed hose float for the Letro Legend II pool cleaner. It is the genuine part, listed with the Legend II LX2000 and LX5000G head parts.
What it does
The feed line runs from the wall fitting to the cleaner, and the float is what holds it at the right height in the water. With the float doing its job the hose sweeps freely behind the cleaner. Without it the line sinks, drags across the floor and gives the cleaner something to wrap itself around.
When to replace it
Floats crack, take on water and lose buoyancy over the years. If the hose is riding low or the float sits noticeably deeper than it used to, replace it. It is a small plastic part and it prevents a cleaner that spends its cycle tangled.
