The EU9 is the rubber debris valve used in Pentair Kreepy Krauly Legend and Legend II cleaner heads. It is the genuine part.
What it does
The debris valve is a flexible rubber flap in the cleaner head. It opens to let debris through and closes behind it so what the cleaner has picked up stays picked up. When the rubber hardens, splits or tears, that one way behavior stops working and the cleaner starts putting dirt back where it found it.
Which heads it fits
Pentair lists it across the Legend range: the 3 wheel and 4 wheel Legend heads, the Legend LL505G, and the Legend II LX2000 and LX5000G. Because it is inexpensive and buried inside the head, it is worth replacing whenever the head is open for other service.
