The Pentair E13 is the rubber o-ring that seals the housing of the back up valve used on Legend pressure side cleaners.
What the back up valve does
A back up valve sits in the cleaner hose and, at intervals, diverts flow so the cleaner reverses and frees itself from steps, corners and drains. It only works if the housing seals. When the o-ring hardens or takes a set, water escapes at the joint and the valve loses the pressure it needs to cycle cleanly.
Fitment
Pentair lists this o-ring for the Legend and Legend Platinum hose back up valves in both three and four wheel models, and for the Legend II LX2000. If you are already stripping the valve for a rebuild, fit a new o-ring while it is open rather than reusing one that has been compressed for years.
