Product details

The Pentair EU7 is the rubber feed mast o-ring for the Legend pool cleaners, sold under both the Letro and Kreepy Krauly names. It is the genuine replacement, and it fits across the 3 wheel Legend, the 4 wheel LL105, the Legend Platinum LL105PM, the Legend II LX2000 and LX5000G, and the Legend LL505G.

Why a small o-ring matters here

A Legend is a pressure side cleaner. The booster pump pushes water down the hose and into the feed mast, and everything the cleaner does, driving, sweeping and picking up, comes from that pressure arriving intact. The mast o-ring is what keeps the joint tight. Once it hardens, flattens or splits, water escapes at the mast and the cleaner slows down, wanders or stops sweeping, which is easy to blame on the booster pump instead.

When to fit one

Any time the head is apart. The mast joint is opened during most Legend rebuilds and tune ups, so replacing this o-ring while you are in there costs little and saves pulling the cleaner back out later.
