Buy by the number

Taylor identifies every reagent by an R number, and that number is what your kit instructions reference at each step. Concentration matters as much as the chemical itself, so R-0009-E at .12N is not interchangeable with an acid reagent at another strength. Storage

Which test does this reagent belong to?
The listing gives only the reagent number and the concentration. Check R-0009 against the instruction sheet for your Taylor kit, because the number is what identifies where the reagent is used.
What does .12N mean?
It is the concentration of the acid solution, twelve hundredths normal. Taylor supplies acid reagents at more than one concentration, so the number on the bottle has to match what your test procedure calls for.
Is this the large size?
It is the 16 oz bottle, a refill size rather than the small dropper bottle supplied inside a kit.
Do reagents expire?
