Why a reader instead of a chart
Reading a strip against a printed color chart is where most home testing goes wrong. Light, shade and eyesight all change the answer. The TruTest meter takes the reading itself, so two people testing the same water get the same result.
Using them
Dip a strip in the pool or spa, put it into the meter and read the values. The bottle has a flip top cap so it opens with one hand and closes again quickly, which matters because damp strips give bad readings. Test at least twice a week, taking water from each end of the pool.
