Product details

The AquaChek Select Connect complete kit is a bottle of 50 seven way test strips for pool and spa water. One dip reads pH, total chlorine, free chlorine, bromine, alkalinity, total hardness and cyanuric acid.

Why seven readings matter

Chlorine on its own does not tell you much. Free chlorine is the part still available to sanitize, and reading it apart from total chlorine is how you catch a pool that looks chlorinated but is not actually protected. Cyanuric acid is on the same strip, which matters because stabilizer creeping up is one of the quiet reasons chlorine stops working the way it used to.

Pool or spa

The strip covers both. Bromine is read alongside chlorine, so a spa run on bromine is tested with the same product rather than needing a second bottle in the cupboard.
