The Infusion VRFSASWH is a self aligning venturi return fitting with a slip 1.5 inch inlet, in white. It replaces a conventional return eyeball in the pool wall.
How a venturi return differs
A plain eyeball return simply pushes filtered water back into the pool. A venturi fitting is shaped so the returning stream draws additional pool water in alongside it as it exits. For the same pump output, more water actually moves through the pool, which is what a venturi return is bought for.
Self aligning
Directional eyeballs have to be aimed by hand and get knocked out of position. The self aligning body settles into its own position instead.
Check the connection
This is the slip inlet version, sized for 1.5 inch pipe and solvent welded. If your return is a threaded port rather than a slip socket, this version will not fit it, and the flanged threaded variant is a separate Infusion part.
