The Hammerhead HH1508XL is the extra large superfine debris bag, an 80 micron mesh supplied with its cleat. It is the fine end of the bag range, meant for the material a standard bag will not hold.
When the fine bag matters
Coarse bags catch leaves and grit and let dust straight through, which is why a pool can look worse after vacuuming. Plaster dust, fine silt and sanding residue all need a finer mesh. At 80 microns this bag traps that material instead of dispersing it back across the floor.
