The Polaris K23 is the genuine all purpose zippered debris bag in black, made for the Polaris 280 BlackMax pressure side cleaner. It catches everything the cleaner picks up off the floor and walls.
Zipper, not velcro
Polaris offers the 280 all purpose bag with two different closures. This one zips, which is the version many owners prefer because the seam stays shut under load and empties cleanly. If your old bag closed with a velcro flap, that is a different part number.
All purpose, not the leaf bag
An all purpose bag is the general duty choice, holding sand, grit and everyday debris as well as leaves. If your pool drops heavy leaf loads, Polaris sells a dedicated leaf bag instead.
When to change it
Bags wear out. Once the mesh is thin, the seam has opened or the zipper no longer closes properly, the debris the cleaner works to collect goes straight back into the water. Check the bag collar at the same time, since it is a separate part and is often distorted by the time the bag has failed.
