Large holes on purpose
The holes in this bag are bigger than the ones in the standard all purpose bag, and that is the whole design. Bigger holes let more water through, which means the cleaner keeps its suction while it is pulling in leaves, acorns, sticks and twigs instead of choking on them. The trade off is that fine material passes through, so this is a fall and storm cleanup bag rather than an everyday one.
Capacity and build
The bag holds more than the all purpose version, so you empty it less often during the heavy weeks. It is coated in blue rubber, which is what gives it its durability against the twigs and sharp debris that shred an uncoated bag.
Fitting
It attaches to the Polaris 280 with two clips, and the bottom collar measures about 3 inches in diameter. If you need to catch sand and silt instead, Polaris makes a separate fine mesh bag for that job.
