S.R. Smith Pool Lifts

34 products

Choose an S.R. Smith lift by the deck it has to work on. The Splash! is the 400 lb standard for most commercial pools, with Hi/Lo, Spa and Extended Reach versions for raised walls, spas and gutters, and the 300 lb Splash! 300 below it. The aXs2 is the compact one, 300 lb with a full circle turn on a small footprint. The PAL2 stands free and locks down with its Secure-It kit, and the multiLift2 mounts on a flange where a multiLift or ML300 once stood. Each battery lift runs on S.R. Smith's LiftOperator control.

About S.R. Smith Pool Lifts

S.R. Smith asks for a Deck Profile Sheet with every lift order, and its ADA compliance is verified by a third party. Part numbers ending in N ship without the anchor, and each product page states what the others include. The 390-0000 package and the 390-2000 Extended Reach kit carry the California package, and the multiLift2 comes in Gray Mist, Slate and Taupe with a seat that reverses in the field. The Mobile Aquatic Chair is for pools with a ramp entry. S.R. Smith lifts ship within about two weeks.

LiftOperator batteries, Splash!, aXs2 and multiLift covers and anchors are filed by the lift they fit. Other manufacturers: Aqua Creek, Global Pool Products, Spectrum Aquatics and Aquatic Access. The parent page is pool lifts.

Questions about S.R. Smith Pool Lifts

Should I buy the S.R. Smith Splash or the aXs2?

Buy the Splash! for capacity and reach: 400 lb, a 344 degree turn, and versions for raised walls, spas and gutter pools. Buy the aXs2 where deck space is tight: it carries 300 lb, turns a full 360 degrees and takes up less of the deck. Both are sold with or without their anchor, and both work alone from the water.

What is the S.R. Smith Deck Profile Sheet?

It is the set of pool edge, deck and water level measurements S.R. Smith requires with every lift order, so the lift can be checked against your pool before it ships. Skipping that check is how a seat ends up short of the water, or outside the 16 to 19 in. seat height the ADA allows.

Was my used S.R. Smith Splash lift recalled?

Possibly, if it was built between January 2013 and September 2015. A 2015 recall covered Splash! lifts from those years, and PAL Hi/Lo and Spa lifts made from December 2014 to September 2015, for welds at the base plate and mast that could fail; about 1,840 units were affected. The remedy was a free replacement base or mast, so check the serial plate and call S.R. Smith.

What is the California package on an S.R. Smith lift?

It is the CEC compliant battery system California requires: a BC version battery, charger and control box. Those three parts do not interchange with the standard LiftOperator parts, so a California lift always needs BC replacements. The Splash! 390-0000 package and the Extended Reach kit 390-2000 both include it.

What does the service light on an S.R. Smith pool lift mean?

The LiftOperator control counts battery swaps and lights its service LED after 120 of them, about every four months of daily use. It is the cue for the routine inspection in S.R. Smith's maintenance guide, not a fault. The other LEDs show the battery level, and the buttons on the control box run the lift if the hand control fails.
