The S.R. Smith multiLift2 580-0000N is a 350 lb battery powered, flange mounted ADA compliant pool lift in Gray Mist, supplied without the anchor.

The multiLift2, or ML2, is the update to the flange mount series, with a field reversible seat and improvements to the deck to water level capacity and the setback range. A third party independently tested and verified it as compliant with section 1009.2 of the ADA guidelines. It is also the first S.R. Smith access lift offered in more colors: Slate and Taupe join Gray Mist.

Fit

The lift mounts by flange, and the anchor is not included in 580-0000N, so it is a separate purchase. A retrofit anchor jig is standard with the lift. The seat can be set to face either way in the field when the lift is installed. A completed Deck Profile Sheet is required with the order to confirm the lift suits your deck.

Power and operation

The LiftOperator Intelligent Controller runs the lift from its rechargeable battery, and a water resistant hand control lets the rider or an attendant operate it. The seat and footrest are rotomolded, the armrests are integrated, and the frame is powder coated stainless steel and aluminum.

Supplied with the lift are a battery and charger, a console cover for the battery, a water resistant hand control, a footrest, armrests, a seat belt assembly and the retrofit anchor jig.

S.R. Smith states the warranty as 5 years on the frame (powder coat excluded), 2 years on the electronics and motor (battery excluded), and 1 year on the battery, prorated. California installations need the CEC compliant BC version of the battery, charger and control box, which are not interchangeable with the standard parts.

The anchor is a separate purchase for this part number, and the completed Deck Profile Sheet confirms the lift reaches the water before it ships.

Does the multiLift2 580-0000N come with an anchor?
No. The N means the lift is supplied without the anchor. A retrofit anchor jig is included, so you can set an anchor in the deck or use one already in place.
