The S.R. Smith Splash 300 pool lift 300-3000 is a 300 lb battery powered ADA compliant lift in Gray Mist, designed to install by core drilling into the deck.

It carries the features of the regular Splash with a lower 300 lb rating, and the easier install is its main difference: the manufacturer states that no additional footings are needed on a standard 4 in. reinforced deck. Like the rest of the Splash series it is semi-portable, operated from a fixed deck anchor and removable for storage, and a third party has tested and verified it as ADA compliant under section 1009.2 of the 2010 guidelines.

Fit

Check the deck first. The core drilled anchor suits a standard 4 in. reinforced deck, and the manufacturer asks for a completed Deck Profile Sheet with every pool lift order so it can confirm the lift will reach the water. This listing does not itemize an anchor, so treat it as a separate purchase unless S.R. Smith confirms otherwise.

Power and operation

A 24 V rechargeable battery drives the LiftOperator Intelligent Controller. The rider operates the lift alone with a waterproof hand control, and the seat turns 344 degrees for the transfer. A charged battery covers about 30 to 40 lifting cycles, and charging takes up to 12 hours.

The lift is supplied with a battery and charger, a console cover for the battery, a cover for the hand control, a footrest, armrests and a seat belt assembly.

S.R. Smith states the warranty as 5 years on the frame (powder coat excluded), 2 years on the electronics and motor (battery excluded), and 1 year on the battery, prorated. California installations need the CEC compliant BC version of the battery, charger and control box, which are not interchangeable with the standard parts.

The anchor is a separate purchase unless the part number includes it, and the Deck Profile Sheet confirms the lift reaches the water before it ships.

What is the difference between the Splash 300 and the regular Splash?
The Splash 300 has the features of the regular Splash but is rated at 300 lb instead of 400 lb, and it installs by core drilling.
