The S.R. Smith Splash Spa Lift 375-0000 is a 400 lb battery powered ADA compliant lift for raised spas and above ground pools, sold with the stainless steel anchor socket that holds it in the deck.

The manufacturer calls the Splash series semi-portable: it works from a fixed deck anchor but lifts out of the socket for winter storage. The spa version suits a spa wall up to 48 in. above the deck. The series has been tested and verified by a third party as ADA compliant under section 1009.2 of the 2010 guidelines, and it suits facilities that must offer riders with limited mobility a way into a spa or pool.

Fit

Start with the deck. The manufacturer puts the anchor socket 12 to 18 in. back from the water edge, and a completed Deck Profile Sheet is required with the order.

Power and operation

A 24 V rechargeable battery rides on the control box and feeds the LiftOperator Intelligent Controller. A waterproof hand control lets the rider run the lift alone. The seat turns 344 degrees for the transfer, and a charged battery covers roughly 30 to 40 lifting cycles. Recharging takes up to 12 hours, and the manufacturer suggests charging daily.

The carton holds the battery and its charger, a cover for the battery console, the waterproof control, the anchor socket and its cover, plus the armrests, footrest and seat belt assembly. The Caddy and a weather cover are optional extras.

S.R. Smith states the warranty as 5 years on the frame (powder coat excluded), 2 years on the electronics and motor (battery excluded), and 1 year on the battery, prorated. California installations need the CEC compliant BC version of the battery, charger and control box, which are not interchangeable with the standard parts.

The anchor is included with this part number, and the completed Deck Profile Sheet confirms the lift reaches the water before it ships.

Does the Splash Spa Lift 375-0000 come with the anchor?
Yes. A stainless steel anchor socket with its cover is supplied with this part number. A completed Deck Profile Sheet is still required with the order so S.R. Smith can confirm the lift suits your spa.
How tall a spa wall will it handle?
This model is built for spas up to 48 in. above the deck. For a wider range of deck to water distances, look at the Hi/Lo or Extended Reach versions of the Splash.
Can the rider run it without help?
The rider can operate it alone with the waterproof hand control. A full battery gives about 30 to 40 lifting cycles, depending on rider weight.
What should I buy with it?
The Splash Caddy lifts the unit out of the socket and doubles as a storage rack. A mast and seat cover keeps the sun and weather off the lift between uses.
