The Air Supply of the Future Ultra 9000, part 3918220, is a 2.0 HP spa blower for 220/240V service. Air Supply of the Future builds the Ultra 9000 for OEM and portable spas, and this is the unit to match when the blower on the tub is a 2 HP, 240 volt model.

Performance

Air Supply rates the 2.0 HP 220/240V Ultra 9000 at 115 CFM with 120 in. of water sealed pressure. The intake manifold is designed so small objects and debris are not drawn into the blower, and the motor sits on a rubber mount that absorbs noise and vibration.

Installation

The outlet is a 2 in. tapered slip fitting, so the air line seats without glue or clamps. The body measures 7 in. by 7 in. by 9.25 in. tall. Keep water out of the motor: mount the blower above the spa water line or run the air line in a loop above the water line, and use a check valve where needed.

Is this the 120V or the 240V blower?
240V. This is the 2.0 HP Ultra 9000 rated for 220/240V. Air Supply also makes a 110/120V version of the 2.0 HP blower, so check the label on the blower you are replacing.
How much air does it move?
115 CFM, with a sealed pressure of 120 in. of water, according to Air Supply's rating for the 2.0 HP 220/240V Ultra 9000.
Do I need glue or clamps on the air line?
No. The outlet is a 2 in. tapered slip fitting made to hold without glue or clamps.
How do I keep water out of the new blower?
Water running back into the motor is a common cause of blower failure. Mount the blower above the spa water line, or loop the air line well above the water line before it runs to the spa, and add a check valve where the installation calls for one.
