Product details

The Hayward GLX-PCB-DSP is the digital display board for the Aqua Rite salt chlorine generator. It is the genuine Hayward part.

What it fixes

The display board is what puts salt level, cell output and diagnostic messages on the screen. When it fails you get a blank panel, a dim one, or missing segments that make the readings impossible to trust. The chlorinator may still be generating, but you have lost the ability to see what it is doing or to set it.

Before you order

Check that the unit has power and that the main printed circuit board is working, because a failed main board can also leave the screen dark. The main board is a separate Hayward part. Once you have confirmed the display is the problem, this board swaps into the Aqua Rite enclosure. Switch the power off at the breaker before opening it.

Is this the main board or the display?
The display. The Aqua Rite main printed circuit board is a separate Hayward part number.
My display is blank but the cell still runs. Is this the fix?
That is the usual symptom of a failed display board. Confirm the unit has power and the main board is working first, since a dead main board can also leave the screen blank.
Is it a genuine Hayward part?
Yes. It is the Hayward OEM board, part number GLX-PCB-DSP.
Can I fit it myself?
It is a board swap inside the Aqua Rite enclosure. Kill the power at the breaker first, and if you are not comfortable working inside the enclosure, have a pool technician do it.
