The Hayward HLX-PCB-MAIN is the main control board for the OmniLogic automation system. It is the genuine Hayward replacement board, the same one fitted in the factory panel.
What the main board does
Everything the OmniLogic controls runs through this board: the pump, heater and light outputs, the sensors and the user interface all connect back to it. When the board fails, the whole system goes with it, and the symptoms often look like several unrelated faults at once.
Before you install it
This is the board only, so it goes into your existing enclosure and wiring. The panel carries line voltage, so cut power at the breaker before opening it. Photograph the wiring before you disconnect anything, and if the panel is unfamiliar, hand the job to a pool technician or an electrician.
